Once again, the annual Festival Neue Literatur brings six of the best up-and-coming German-language authors to New York, where they join well-known American writers in a series of conversations and readings. The festival will take place during the weekend of February 22-24 at venues throughout NYC.
Acclaimed author and translator Susan Bernofsky and journalist Claudia Steinberg, curators of the Festival Neue Literatur 2013, chose six exceptional German-language authors for this year’s festivities.
The 2013 participants are: Clemens Setz and Cornelia Travnicek (Austria), Leif Randt and Silke Scheuermann (Germany), Ulrike Ulrich and Tim Krohn (Switzerland), and Joshua Ferris and Justin Taylor (United States).
